History
Gammapar was founded in 1963, and is the original
manufacturer of acrylic impregnated wood floors. We are the
manufacturer of the worlds largest wood floor installation, the
Kansas City International Airport, which was installed in 1972, and
features over 500,000 Square Feet of Gammapar's acrylic impregnated
parquet flooring.
We are located in Forest, Virginia on land once
owned by Thomas Jefferson. Our plant, in fact, is less than 5 miles
from Jefferson's famous summer home, Poplar Forest.
Mission
We are active members in the Forestry Stewardship
Council, and have a line of FSC Certified Products. We are customer
and project focused, and operate with the philosophy that it's not
only your reputation on the line when you specify a product, it
everyone's collective reputations on the line.
